Erika Gomez

Executive Chef at Fairmont El San Juan Hotel

Chef Erika M. Gomez Salas was raised in Juncos, Puerto Rico, studied at University of Puerto Rico in Humacao, and graduated in 2000 from Culinary Arts at Escuela Hotelera of San Juan. Erika started her culinary journey with an internship at the Ritz Carlton, Isla Verde, where she later joined as a Cook 3 and progressed to Sous Chef at BLT Steak. In 2011, Erika joined La Concha Hotel as Executive Sous Chef and was promoted to Executive Chef in 2013, where she gained significant experience and knowledge over 11 years. She joined Fairmont El San Juan Hotel in 2024.
